It includes most — if not all — of the abbreviations and technical terms used throughout our site. This is especially helpful for new C2SM members who may not yet be familiar with all the jargon.

On March 24, 2025, the C2SM Community Day took place at ETH main building. The slides of the Core Team presentation can be downloaded from the Community Day web page .
A new release of the EXTPAR software has been published. It includes several bug fixes, new features, automatic container deployment and a new documentation.
We are pleased to announce our next Git for Beginners workshop, which will take place on Monday, March 31th from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Last week, CSCS deployed the Climate and Weather vCluster santis. As some fine-tuning is still ongoing, the Santis section provides an overview of how to transition from todi to santis.
The ICON User Workshop takes place on 4 February 2025 as a physical meeting at the ETH Zentrum campus in the heart of Zurich.
Since the transition from Piz Daint to the new Alps infrastructure is already taking place, we have added a new navigation section Alps to collect all necessary information there.
